The SEX CAFE
a monthly meetup to talk about sex, drink tea
and eat cake!
Where: at Stanley Road Store, 55 Brighton place BN 1 1HJ
Brighton (back of Donatello's)
When: 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6-7.30pm
19th of April, 17th of May, 21st of June
Who: all women, non-binary and genderqueer folks of all adult ages, seizes, ethnicities, sexual orientations, abilities. Trans women warmly welcome.

Cost: Sliding scale donations between £5-£15

HOW DOES IT WORK?
We start with tea, a warmup and intro, followed by a round of sharing-
no advice or cross talk here, you're simply heard & seen. Then there's CAKE!
Followed by another round of heart-shares, chill out, mingling & tea.
All in a friendly, confidential, space.
Our first gathering a the Sex Cafe blew my heart wide open.
We need community!
And we need spaces where we can feel safe (enough) to share and be listened to about sex- this mysterious, intimate part of our lives!
Whether we are sexually active with ourselves, one other or others, want sex at this time or not, it can be so enriching, nourishing and enlightening to share and hear others speak about all the different facets: pleasure, permission, consent, the need for touch and connection....

I feel immensely privileged and proud to be working in this field of eros, sensuality and sex, and to be one of the 'healers on the edge'- our work is so needed as so many folks are still going without sex ed, holding on to old myths, struggling with shame and guilt. Time to reclaim the JOY of our sexuality!

* You do not need to be in a sexual relationship with with yourself or another to be here or talk about sex
* You might identify as queer, straight, pan sexual, poly or anything else

* You are welcome to be explicit in your language about sex here
